About Mama Dishes
Hi, I’m Mia Parker — Welcome to Mama Dishes. I’m a mother of two, a son and a daughter, and most of what I know about cooking I learned the way a lot of people do: by feeding a family every single day, whether I felt like cooking or not. MamaDishes started as a way to keep track of the recipes that actually worked for my house — the chicken dinner my kids ask for by name, the casserole I can put together after a long day, the soup that stretches into two more meals, the slow cooker dinner that’s ready before anyone gets hungry and impatient, and the dessert I make when there’s something worth celebrating.
Everything here fits into one of six categories: Chicken Recipes, Dinner Recipes, Casseroles, Slow Cooker Recipes, Soups & Stews, and Desserts. I kept it simple on purpose. I’m not chasing trends, and I’m not trying to reinvent dinner every night — I’m trying to make it easier to get a good meal on the table with ingredients you already know how to buy.
If you’re looking for a recipe that’s been tested in a real kitchen, for a real family, you’re in the right place.
